Inter-diplomatique de l'Assemblée
The Congress of Diplomats founded the Inter-Diplomatic Assembly as an annual Conference (gathering of diplomats) to unite in one body diplomats, members of the judiciary, parliamentarians and other distinguished practitioners who are concerned with or who are interested in furthering the advancement and promotion of anti-corruption, anti-organized crime, human rights, international security and defence, intercultural, public and commercial diplomacy and other diplomatic affairs related issues.
Furthermore, to promote dialogue, debates, democracy, the rule of law, social welfare and development amongst distinguished diplomats from all regions. Also to honour the vision of leaders and practitioners who support the operations and programme needs of the Congress of Diplomats annually through subscriptions. Members meet in the City of London and in other countries, at the invitation of the High Representatives of the Congress of Diplomats.
Aims of the Inter-Diplomatic Assembly
The aims of the Inter-Diplomatic Assembly are to encourage the creation, advancement and dissemination of knowledge through diplomatic debates, forums, annual conferences and development. Also to source and coordinate information from all the diplomatic affairs disciplines involved, to provide a forum in which new innovative ideas and new products can have the benefit of informed and professional scrutiny and to further advanced education and communication.
The Congress of Diplomats' website will provide more information on members of The Congress of Diplomats, reports of the annual conferences, forums, dinner/luncheon debates and other most current activities. It will also include a list of partners and useful links relating to advancement, promotion, study, research, development and professional practice of diplomacy and also programmes available at associated diplomatic institutions/organizations.
